Methodology
Mathematics is the language of the universe and as any language the best way to become fluent in it is to use it and not be afraid to make mistakes while doing so.
This is why I build a friendly class environment where making mistakes is looked down upon but as a learning opportunity to boost confidence.
Moreover, I believe using shortcuts is not an efficient way to navigate through mathematics as it does not allow students to truly understand the reason and logic behind the abstract concepts that exist inside the world of mathematics.
Additionally, I believe life is lived finding joy in everything we do. This is why I do my best to inject humor into my lessons. I like to make sure that students are constantly coming back to class eager to learn and share their valuable knowledge and input.
Finally, as a singer songwriter, I love coming up with catchy melodies and effective rhyme schemes for students to easily recall complex concepts and challenging equations. My number one goal in life is to make as many people speak the language of mathematics as fluently as possible and, in the process, make their lives a little bit more fun.
